Visual Artist & Photographer Tatjana-Aleksandra Aljautdinova

ART OF
VISUALIZATION

The silence in which the story lives

About the Photographer

Tatjana-Aleksandra Aljautdinova is a visual artist and photographer based in Estonia. In her practice, she explores themes of memory, corporeality, and the human connection with the surrounding world. Each project grows from personal experience and evolves into a reflection on collective emotions — care, vulnerability, and belonging.

Alongside her artistic work, she raises three children, and this experience subtly informs her perspective and themes. For Tatjana-Aleksandra, art is a way to speak about what is difficult to express in words. Her works engage with bodily memory and emotion, creating space for an inner response in the viewer.

She works with photography and mixed media, combining images with embroidery and natural materials. Grain, double exposure, and natural light form a visual language in which the image becomes a space of memory and feeling. Tatjana-Aleksandra works only with natural materials — things that can be trusted, alive and real in their texture. The simplicity of form coexists with depth: behind every image lies another meaning, one that can only be felt.

Her works have been shown in London, Paris, Helsinki, and Tallinn, and have been recognised through international open calls and festivals. Several of her series were included in the UNESCO MONDIACULT program.
