Art Through Touch

“Art Through Touch” is a project about the transmission of art through touch. It grew out of observing the moment of learning — when knowledge is passed not through words, but through the body, through rhythm, gaze, and gesture.
The first part of the series focuses on ballet — a meeting between a young dancer and her mentor, for whom the dance becomes a symbol of continuity. This episode became the starting point for exploring how art is transferred from one person to another through touch.
After the first story, the series expanded to include other art forms — calligraphy, singing, violin, ceramics, and painting. Across these practices, the artist observes how knowledge and emotion are shared through physical interaction — a gesture, a touch. Despite the differences in materials and disciplines, each image captures a moment of presence, when touch becomes the language of art.
The project explores the physical dimension of artistic experience — the point where knowledge, emotion, and movement merge. “Art Through Touch” considers touch as a form of memory, a way to preserve the connection between the human being and art itself.
